Romans Review 1
On February 15, Ben started the Romans Review, up to chapter seven, picking out themes [and key verses] from each chapter:
Chapter 1; God’s wrath against sin [verses 16,17] (the gospel saves us from God’s wrath)
Chapter 2; All have sinned, with or without the Law [verses 12,13]
Chapter 3; There is none righteous, not one, thus Jesus alone justifies [verses 21-26]
Chapter 4; Abraham was justified by faith, apart from circumcision [verse 5]
Chapter 5; Helpless in the sin of Adam, helped in the obedience of Christ [verse 15]
Chapter 6; From slaves of sin to slaves of God [verse 18]
Chapter 7; The believer’s struggle with indwelling sin [verses 24,25]
From each chapter, can you think of anything that made a big impression on you from this study?
