Romans 11:1-10
Hey guys! In Romans 11 Paul teaches about the grace of God. What is grace? It is unmerited favor, a gift undeserved. God has set aside for Himself a remnant according to the election of grace. Who has done the electing? God. And who has been elected? A remnant, God's chosen. And according to what has the remnant been elected? By works of their own? NO! Only by the grace of God. If God chose us according to our works, then it would not be UNmerited favor (grace) bestowed upon us, but merited favor, and then it is no longer grace! Therefore, there is nothing we can do to earn, further, or secure our salvation, for it is only by God's grace that we are chosen and saved.
